Aarakocra

Aarakocras are bird-like, humanoid creatures that were created during the ancient times, descendants of Harpies and Bird-like Demigods, to guard the skies from the "Endgame" where Devils and Angels would fill the sky, to approach combat. Their job was, and is intended to guard mortal humanoids if this event ever occours. They are living in gigantic nest-cities on top of huge trees, or floating cities. They can fly, and their social system is based on their knowledge over devotions. Travelling as an Aarakocra, you were sent away to travel, and live like the other humanoids, to return to your people with the knowledge you gathered during your lifestime, and become an elder guide for the youth of the Aarakocra. You tend to act like a wise old-man, and healthy-sarcasm is your favourite way of communication. You have an unbreakable patience, and  you are very keen and precise when it comes to battle.

- Special Ability:  

(1) Wings: You have an Advantage in Intimidation, spreading your wings to make you look stronger than you truly are. 

- Age:

Aarakocras are maturing at the age of 3, and their lifespan is around 80 years. - They lay eggs.

- Alignment:

Aarakocras are usually Chaotic-Good.

- Size:

You have the build of a larget human, roughly from 5 to 6 feet tall. You are avarage, the avarage Aarakocra goes up from 50 to 100 pounds.

- Speed:

25 feet(10 Yards)/Turn with no modifiers.

(1) Flying: You have a 50 Feet flying speed, and you can fly above to 50 feet. - To do so, you cannot wear medium or heavy armour.

 

- Languages:

Aarakocras are using an ancient language, that is like of a demonic-bird when they speak. - "Krrr Caw'ragcaw QUAAAAAAA!"

- Common Language

- Arakkoan.

Aarakocra:

Instead of different cultures, or sub-species, Aarakocras were born to be what they will do in their life. The different bird-like birds, are representing their skills and strenghts. - All different type of Arakkoas are having a bonus ability for their classes. 

Hawk (Warrior):

The Hawks of the Aarakocra are the second-lowest on the social chart. They are the guards of the skies and cities. They have no special role, other than being defenders. They are in the majority, and they are the strongest.

- Special Ability:  "Aerial Strike": Cancel "Flying Status" and select a target. - Dash on the target, and break it's magical defenses under Level 4.

Crow (Rogue):

The Crows of the Aarakocra are the lowest rank of the Aarakocra society. They are not living inside of their nests most of the time, but instead they are sent to gather objects from other humanoids to bring back to the nest. They are small and weak, but for that they are very good in hiding and running away.

- Special Ability:  "Feast of Crows": Screech. Every unit not seeing you, gets Level 1 Paranoia. - Being vulnerable to distractions.

Eagle (Rogue-Archer Build):

Eagles are the Elit-Unit of the Aarakocra society. They are the ones flying around the sky, scouting for any means of threat. They are strong, and precies, aiming perfectly, taking advantage of their flight against grounded units.

- Special Ability:  Rain of Arrowes (must be flying): Select a 2x2 Area, and deal D4 damage to everyone inside. (1 PP) - You may use this ability again for free, as long as you stay steady after the first cast.

Peacock (Mage):

Peacocks are the Advisors of the leaders of Aarakocran society. Their job is to gather knowledge, and learn the spell of other humanoids. They are weak, but their magical knowledge makes them extremely hard to deal with.

- Special Ability:  "Charming Feathers": Imbue your feathers with magic. Every enemy unit looking at it, must make a Will check. If they fail, you can point out who they attack next. (1 PP) - Cooldown: Short Rest

Vulture (Warlock):

Vultures are equal to mages within the society. Their job is to communce with the otherwordly, dark creatures of the world, to learn what is an actual threat, and what is not. Sometimes they are not trusted within the society, but they are needed for it to work and not fall.

- Special Ability:  Digest Decay: You can eat corpses, to refill 1 PP and 1 Life. - Cooldown: Short Rest.

Owl (Priest):

Owls are the leaders of the Aarakocran society, they are in charge to make sure that the prophecy is not being fulfilled, to avoid the Endgame. - They are wise and wit, having knowledge over how the humanoids work. They are very good leading figures, with a great sense of threat. They are weak, but they have the whole Aarakocran society to defend them, thanks to their social importance.

- Special Ability: "Nocturnal" During Nighttime, you receive +1 Wisdom.

 

Parrot (Rogue - Bard Build):

Parrots are the absolute low-lives of Aarakocran society. They are tolerated, but they have no political word. Most of them are taking care of the amusement of the leadership. - If a Parrot ever becomes important, or serious enough, the Owls are giving them the "messenger" rank, to deliver messages to other civilizations.

- Special Ability:  "Culture Vulture" - You can learn 1 Spell of any Classes.
